Driving School

No, I'm not taking driving lessons. I just thought the poster of traffic signs was interesting. Some of the signs on this poster I have never seen on the streets, like the "Bullock carts & Hand carts prohibited" sign. I have seen the "Bullock carts prohibited" sign and bullock carts on the same street. And they don't have my favorite sign "Driving on the wrong side of the median prohibited" on this poster although I've seen it on the Bangalore-Mysore highway and other places.

I'm a driving instructor here in the UK, and haven't seen some of those signs either. I guess some of them only have local meanings!

Hey Donna... I love your observations... true laugh riots. Do share more.

And about the road signs, I have lived here (Delhi) all my life but have never seen these signs before :D

You should be following a structured step by step syllabus when learning to drive in the UK. You should have received a driver's record with your provisional licence, or your driving instructor should provide you with one on your first lesson.
